Pole Cribs - Corrugated Steel Pipe

For utility pole applications, pole cribs are manufactured using Armtec’s SteelCor Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP). Corrugated steel plates are shipped nested in compact bundles for economical transportation and are quickly bolted together on-site, making installation fast and efficient. Variable heights are available in 610 mm increments to accommodate a wide range of diameter requirements:

Pole Cribs - Multi Plate

For larger transmission tower foundations, pole cribs are manufactured using Armtec’s Multi Plate structural plate system, which provides the strength and large-diameter capabilities required for demanding projects. Manufactured from pre-curved corrugated steel plates, the components are shipped nested for economical transportation and are quickly assembled on site using bolted connections, allowing for efficient installation in remote or difficult-to-access locations. Variable heights are available in increments of 3050 mm and 3600 mm with a wide range of diameters from 1500 mm to 7400 mm.
